More than a careers talk.
Help students understand how football really works.
For many young people, working in football is the ambition.
Understanding the opportunities available — and how to turn that ambition into a realistic career path — can be much harder.
Football Growth Education brings first-hand professional football experience into schools, colleges and universities through practical, interactive sessions built around the questions students actually want answered.
What jobs exist inside football? How do people get into the industry? How does a professional club operate as a business? What do clubs look for when they recruit? And what can students start doing now to give themselves the best possible chance?
No generic motivational talks. Just practical insight from inside the industry.
Football explained by someone who has worked inside it.
Football Growth Education is delivered by founder Clive Edwards, drawing on a career spent working across professional football in media, marketing, commercial development, strategy and senior club leadership.
The sessions combine that first-hand experience with years of speaking to students about careers and opportunities within the game — giving schools, colleges and universities access to insight that comes from actually doing the job.
Senior football leadership
Experience working at senior level inside professional clubs provides a genuine view of how football organisations operate, make decisions and respond to the pressures of the industry.
Recruiter and team leader
Having recruited, managed and developed people within football, Clive can give students an employer’s perspective on applications, experience, attitude and what makes candidates stand out.
Experience in the classroom
Clive has regularly delivered talks and sessions for school, college and university students, combining real-world football insight with a conversational and interactive style.

A session students take part in.
Football Growth Education is designed around participation rather than passive listening. Students are encouraged to think, discuss, make decisions and apply what they’re hearing to the realities of professional football.
The session has structure. The experience is never scripted.
